Keynote Speakers

Katrice Horsley: International Narrative Consultant
Former UK National Storytelling Laureate with 40 years’ experience helping organisations use story to inspire engagement and meaningful change. Katrice has worked worldwide with UNICEF, UNHCR and global leaders, bringing a vibrant, global perspective to every session.

Carol Burton: Puppeteer & Storyteller
Founder of Puppets, Plays & Story Days, Carol brings stories to life with high‑energy puppetry and interactive storytelling. With 20+ years of experience, she supports schools and libraries to boost imagination, confidence and literacy.

Sarah Tipler: Children’s Reading Advocate
With 24 years at North Lincolnshire Council, Sarah leads creative literacy projects that help children discover a love of reading. She works with community partners—including Humberside Fire and Rescue and Scunthorpe United—to make reading fun, inclusive and accessible for all.

Hannah Dunn: Founder of Mind Wellbeing & Creator of World of Wonderfill
A TEDx speaker and wellbeing innovator, Hannah helps children and young people build emotional literacy, self-belief and healthier inner narratives. Drawing on lived experience, she works with schools, communities and organisations to transform how we use language, imagination and storytelling to support wellbeing and positive change.

Sarah Roebuck: Programme Lead, BA (Hons) SENDI & MA SENDI
A former early years practitioner with a background in nursery leadership, Sarah has seen first‑hand how storytelling; spoken, shared or discovered through play, supports children’s identity, belonging and emotional understanding. Sarah champions storytelling as an inclusive pedagogical tool that nurtures wellbeing and meaningful engagement for children and young people with SEND.
