I currently teach across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the HE School of Education and Arts.

About

I enjoy learning and development and have obtained a BA (Honours) in Law from the University of Nottingham Trent, followed by a PGCE in Lifelong Learning and a MA in Childhood Studies from the University of Hull via the University Centre Doncaster.

Teaching

I have historically worked within the early years industry as a SEND support teacher and have experienced pre-school and primary education first-hand through the Graduate Teacher Practice scheme. Most recently I have worked within large college settings delivering BTEC and T-level qualifications, HNDs and Degrees in Childhood and Education, Health and Social Care and Functional Skills. I have taught on a diverse catalogue of qualifications ranging from entry levels to masters qualifications and I have also had the privilege of leading programmes of study and writing degrees to suit the industry – allowing for the development of industry specific knowledge and quality assurance.

Further Industry Experience

During my spare time, I maintain my practical educational knowledge by being a hands-on school governor and I enjoy spending time within my local school and community.
