Bringing together current and former students, along with programme staff, the inaugural DN Colleges Group (DNCG) Research Showcase cultivated a day of inspiration at the University Campus North Lincolnshire.
In a unique format, attendees were able to draw knowledge from a wide array of presentations, covering topics such as Society, Education and Inclusion, Applied Science and Digital Innovation, Sport and Professional Practice, and many more.
This was a real opportunity to see first-hand, just some of the discoveries which are shaping our future – driven by students and staff from the local region.
Supplementing a comprehensive lecture schedule, there was also the chance for further subject matter deep-dives, via an engaging symposium exhibition, where visitors were able to take a closer look at respective insights.
Dr Jessica Iyamu, Curriculum Leader for Health and Life Science at DN Colleges Group, said: “The Research Showcase was a really informative and intellectually stimulating day.
“It was fantastic to see our current and alumni students presenting on their research along with staff, showcasing that we have some inspiring and contemporary research being undertaken across DNCG.
“The showcase also had talks from staff and students who had collaborated on research together through our Scholarly Internship Programme (SchIP) and the findings presented could have a real impact within their research areas. Overall, it was a great research-focused day!”
