Simon brings over 25 years of industry experience to his teaching, having worked extensively across the electronics sector and within qualification and standards development for beauty treatments. His roles focused on international business development, including establishing reseller networks in communications distribution and hairdressing education. Through working with clients in more than 40 countries, Simon has gained deep insight into global cultures and diverse approaches to conducting business.
Simon’s educational career began in Beijing, where he lived for over five years delivering business training to a range of blue‑chip companies. In the UK, he has supervised master’s dissertation students at the University of Lincoln and spent four years teaching on their distance‑learning programmes, supporting learners through advanced research and academic development.
He brings vast experience, cultural awareness, and adaptability to his role at UCNL, drawing on his international background and broad industry knowledge to support students at all levels both academically and pastorally. Simon’s commitment to student development underpins his teaching practice, ensuring learners are prepared for the complexities of modern global business environments.
