Rob is a former member of HM Forces, bringing 28 years of experience in leadership, operations, and project management to his academic role. His career has given him extensive real‑world insight into organisational effectiveness, strategic decision‑making, and managing people and projects in high‑pressure environments—experience he now applies directly to his teaching and student support.
Specialising in Business Psychology, Leadership, Operations, and Project Management, Rob focuses on helping students develop practical skills, professional confidence, and strategic thinking relevant to the modern workplace. He brings over 25 years of industry experience, having transitioned into higher education to share his expertise in operations, organisational behaviour, and leadership with the next generation of business professionals.
Rob is committed to his own continuous professional development and has an EdD, strengthening his academic practice and pedagogical approach. His blend of military, industry, and academic experience informs a teaching style grounded in discipline, adaptability, and real‑world application, supporting students at all levels of their learning journey.
