Laura Grice

Lecturer Human Resource Management

Laura is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management, delivering across the HE Business programmes, CIPD Foundation Certificate and Associate Diploma qualifications, and the Level 3 and Level 5 HR Apprenticeships. She leads modules, supports apprenticeship learners, and contributes to curriculum development, helping HR professionals connect academic theory with real organisational practice.

With undergraduate qualifications in Business Management and a strong interest in organisational justice, employee voice, and ethical HR practice, Laura brings a research-informed perspective to her teaching. Her subject specialisms include employee relations, reward, engagement, diversity and inclusion, and managing change. Laura is currently in the final stage of her postgraduate programme in Human Resource Management; engaging in advanced academic research exploring organisational justice, employee voice, and the impact of policy change on employee relations.

Prior to moving into education, Laura worked within Local Authority services, managing small teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

She adopts an interactive, discussion-led teaching approach and is passionate about developing confident, strategically minded HR professionals.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys family life, outdoor pursuits, and live music events.
