As Programme Leader for Foundation Degrees and Head of Year, he oversees academic standards, quality assurance, and the smooth operation of multiple undergraduate pathways, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality student experience.
With over 19 years of senior operational leadership experience, Gary brings substantial commercial insight to his teaching. His background includes managing multi‑million‑pound corporate accounts and leading large, high‑performing teams—experience that now informs his mentoring of emerging business professionals and future leaders.
Gary champions an inclusive, flipped‑classroom approach, placing experiential learning, digital literacy, and employer engagement at the heart of his curriculum design. Gary is currently completing an MBA specialising in Strategic Leadership and Educational Management, further strengthening his expertise in academic leadership and student development.
