Equine Public Dissection
April 22 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Wednesday 22nd April 2026
6pm – 7.30pm at North Lindsey College
Explore equine anatomy and welfare in a rare public dissection featuring a horse’s head, spine, and limb. This visually rich session offers a unique opportunity to understand the structures that influence movement, behaviour, and overall well‑being.
Led by Claire Maries, MSc Applied Equine Science, with support from colleagues across the FdSc and BSc Animal Welfare Science programmes, the event combines expert demonstration with thoughtful, welfare‑focused discussion. Ideal for students, professionals, and anyone passionate about equine care.
There will also be an opportunity to chat to our team, and learn more about our programmes.
