University Campuses awarded Silver by the Teaching Excellence Framework
The DN Colleges Group university campuses have been awarded Silver in the latest outcome of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The DN Colleges Group has two campuses that received the award, The University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) and University Campus Doncaster (UCDon). Staff and students are delighted with the results and that their hard work has been recognised amongst the latest round of awards.
The Teaching Excellence Framework is a national scheme that assesses the quality of undergraduate teaching and student outcomes in higher education providers in England. The TEF aims to recognise higher education providers to improve and deliver excellence in teaching, learning and positive outcomes for students.
TEF Silver category rating at the DN Colleges group signifies that the student experience and outcomes are of a very high quality with some outstanding features. The rating will remain in place for four years and the outcomes will be published on the Office for Students website. The information published for each participating provider includes:
- Ratings awarded
- Evidence informing the assessment
- Summary panel statement setting out the panel’s reasoning for the outcome
