Childhood is a short period of rapid development where highly skilled practitioners enhance children’s experiences, resulting in improved outcomes for children.

Awarded by the University of Hull but delivered locally here at the University Campus North Lincolnshire (UCNL) our foundation degree enables you to develop the knowledge and skills to progress in your career working with children, their families and the services that support them.

Students are able to choose between three specialised pathways designed to enhance the knowledge of those who work or volunteer with children from birth to 19 including Early Childhood, Education and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

A BA (Hons) Children Learning and Development is available for students who wish to continue their studies to gain a level 6 qualification. Two distinct pathways are offered, Early Childhood or Education, encompassing those who work or volunteer with children from birth to 19.
