Entry Requirements
The requirements for applicants progressing from full-time education are 32 UCAS points/NVQ3 or equivalent Level 3 qualification. Some applicants come through the experiential route (relevant work or life experience). We have a long and successful record of supporting mature students, many of whom left formal education some time ago.
Course Progression
Students can progress onto BTEC Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management Level 5.
Assessment Methods
A variety of assessment methods are used, including:
– Individual & Group presentations
– Essays
– Portfolios
– Reports
– Assignments based on simulated or case-study work
– Exhibitions
Course Fees
Your Tuition fees cover the majority of costs associated with your programme (including registration, tuition and assessment).
There may be some extra costs that you might need to make or choose to pay.
Books (you will have access to books from your module reading lists in the HE library, but you may want to buy your own copies).
Printing and photocopying.
If your programme includes a work placement, you may be required to pay for a Basic or Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
