The primary way of delivering this course is on campus.
On campus teaching includes a combination of lectures, small group seminars, workshops, guest lectures and one to one discussions with your tutor.
A variety of forms of coursework assessment are employed on the programme. These include written descriptive and numerical assignments, short tests, laboratory and workshop appraisals, personal projects, group work, self- and peer-assessment, portfolio preparation and case studies.
Students studying part-time will receive 7 hours of teaching per week throughout this course full-time students 14 hours of teaching. Additional one-to-one meetings with tutors will provide further support.
Successful completion of HNC Mechanical Engineering.
The Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma allows students to specialise by committing to specific career paths and progression routes to degree-level study.
